Now I am certain that Liam is really fine with the exception that he is being poisoned by Grace with that "prescribed" medication. It is not to kill him, but it to make him pay. Only Thomas has the motive to participate in those two schemes. Since Liam is not dying, Grace would want out of the scheme and she wants him to seek treatment in order to have a miraculous recovery.
Grace is a Buckingham and they are shady. She wants to make sure her trashy daughter gets what she wants and it would not surprise me if Thomas is threatening to not marry her if Grace does not go along with him. Grace probably did not realize what she was getting herself into when she agreed to help Taylor and Thomas.

I don't think Grace would put her medical career in jeopardy for one of Taylor's and Thomas's whacko schemes. And what pharmacist would fill a prescription for poison? She'd have to know she'd be discovered and go to prison.

If it is, I hope Taylor goes to prison, but she won't. She didn't know she was buying a stolen baby. She's so stupid, she actually thought that was the price of a private adoption. Reese told her there were some high medical bills or something.
