Well he is kind of vital to FC. He runs EOF and is VP of SP. he can ruin FC in a blink of an eye if he wanted to, so, he is very important to them. And, he is the father to Steffy’s daughter, and Hope’s daughter. Finn is NOT Kelly’s dad, no matter how many times he says it to people. LOL. The 2 people that have no business being there other than to pick up or drop off kids, is pathetic Taylor trying to get a glimpse of Brooke’s partner, or wimpy Finn being his wife’s personal assistant.

Exactly! Finn is an idiot! It was clear Hope was mortified and he had to know, as hard as she hit him, that she fell. This whole mess is a result of his unwillingness to set his bully wife straight.

This whole mess is on Hope, and ONLY Hope. Finn misread the situation, and he has no legitimate power at FC, regardless. He doesn't work there, and he also doesn't owe Hope anything after she tried to break up his marriage.

Finn didn't see Hope trip, the audience did. The audience has more information, than the characters do. He misread the situation; but if Hope, Carter, and Brooke had opened their mouths and didn't stay mute when asked to offer other alternative explanations; maybe she wouldn't have lost her job.

But like others (Zende, Will Luna) Steffy has been seen using that office occasionally and apparently Steffy has told model Laney that she would be there that day.

That is a "shared" office and should not really be Carter's and Hope's "make out" or "office sex" place.

Just 2 episodes/ a day before the Finn-Hope-Steffy scene, we already had had Brooke walking in on a half-dressed Carter and Hope in her bra making out bent over that desk, while the door had been unlocked.

Pam and her lemon bars were mentioned on the show not too long ago, so Pam is supposed to still be working at FC even if the actress is not shown on the show. It is obvious that Hope didn't know that it was Finn in the office. When she said to lock the door, why did the big dummy not make his presence known? Does he think that Hope is just sitting around the office in underwear hoping that he would drop by? Is he really that narcissistic? Did the meathead not see Hope trip? At most companies, the executive secretary would handle matters like that instead of letting nonemployees intrude in offices disrupting people. It is not the first time that Finn has ended up in Hope's work area uninvited. Does Finn not know how to knock before entering a closed door? How would Finn like it if someone barged into his office without knocking while he was with a patient? I know of a few others that have taken their clothes off at work including Steffy when she was trying to seduce Liam while Liam was in a relationship with Hope.

The door was shut, and Finn didn't even knock before he waltzed in. Once in, he didn't even call out to make his presence known in case someone else was in the room. Since Pam is the CEO executive secretary, it looks like he would have left the tablet with her to give to Steffy. If Steffy would have been in the HFTF office, it would have been for business and not pleasure. It seems like he wouldn't want to disturb her while she was working.

It’s not the HFTF office. It’s the design office. A shared office that everybody uses including interns.

If Hope wanted some privacy while changing, she should have locked the door.

Steffy and Finn don’t have those rules. Steffy goes to Finn’s office at the hospital just to hang out often. Finn goes to see Steffy at her workplace too. Married people do this often both in real life and in this fictional world.

Hope was behind the screen and not changing in the open area. Unless someone came behind the screen, they would not see her. Just because it is a shared office does not mean that a nonemployee should waltz inside without knocking or at least making his presence known. When Hope called out to lock the door, why did he not say something instead of making himself at home behind the desk? I am recently retired and in every office that I have worked in, the family didn't hang out like it was a country club. Especially the CEO office because they are supposed to be sitting an example for the other employees. Steffy tried to seduce Liam with her intimates line with the door unlocked. In fact, she was behind the screen and thought that Liam had returned and came out and did her little hot to trot dance, except when the person in the chair turned around, it was Hope instead of Liam. Ridge had sex in the steam room with the door unlocked. Most of the characters have done the same thing but they trashed Hope like they haven't done it themselves. Most doctors do not have their spouses hanging out at the office during working hours. Most good doctors are packed with appointments and don't have time for that.

I didn’t watch that episode. I was wondering why Finn had to put it on Steffy’s hand rather than leave it in her office or with an assistant. Everyone just seems to show up and do what ever they want.

Was it an emergency? Most people who visit people in the job in their spouses office? It just dawned on me that it is Finn who was intruding. That office has a divider where people often try on clothing. Finn shouldn’t be roaming around offices.

Finn was NOT intruding. He is married to the CEO of the establishment and has every right to be there. As such, he can roam the premises as he pleases. Steffy, Liam, Ridge, Brooke, Hope, and Thomas have all visited Finn in his office at the hospital, despite none of them working in the medical field or being involved in the business of saving lives.

Finn was informed by another employee, Lainey, that Steffy would be working in the design office—a SHARED COMMUNAL SPACE used by everyone. The room was left unlocked, and Finn, clearly in a rush on his way to work, planned to leave a note attached to the tablet for Steffy. This was a helpful and thoughtful gesture. Additionally, the employee was correct, as the only reason Steffy caught Hope on top of Finn was that she was truly heading to the design office; Finn had only arrived a few minutes earlier than she did.

Moreover, why does it matter that Finn was in the office? Anyone could have walked into that space, and Hope’s behavior would still have been inappropriate. Why didn’t Hope lock the door before changing (especially since she wanted to hide her relationship and they've been walked on multiple times before)? Why did she choose to seduce the COO in an unlocked office—a space used by multiple people, including interns—instead of focusing on reviving her failing line? Why couldn’t she admit to being in a relationship with Carter?

Why, when Finn caught her in lingerie, did Hope walk toward him instead of turning away? Hope made a series of foolish decisions that led to her current predicament. Finn is NOT in the wrong here.

I have been in charge and worked with others who have been in charge and at no time could spouses walk wherever they want.

Finn's wife owns 1/3 of the company and is co-CEO. He doesn't need permission to walk through the building especially when he is bringing her something she needs for work.

Well it is not Steffy's dedicated office either... It has been shown that Hope spends most of her time at FC in that office. Finn knows that and has even sought Hope out in there himself. Maybe Steffy needs to ask, why did she find Finn in the office that he knew that more than likely Hope would be there.

As for not having sex in that office, EVERYONE has sex in those offices and it is not just Hope or Brooke. The founder of the company set the corporate culture for his company. Eric was the one that set the standard for corporate sex in the offices and steam room. I guess it can be said that even Stephanie had sex in those offices as well since she once said that Eric worked late in the beginning of their marriage and that she would go to him to spend together time.

The dialogue and what was shown cannot excuse Hope by trying to blame Finn. He was told that he could find his wife in the design office. Steffy walked into the design office within a minute or two after Finn. It doesn’t matter whether it’s her designated office or not. She is the co-CEO/ 1/3 owner and can go in that office anytime she chooses.
What you said about Steric sounds as if it was late at night and they were alone……not getting it on in the middle of the day when the entire building is filled with employees like Hope was intending to do.

But with Eric and Stephanie I doubt that they really had sex at the office.

We have often seen these two sitting and having a drink together, so I assume it was more likely that Stephanie joined Eric at work to talk and have such a drink.

I watched the scene just this morning. It happened very quickly. Hope said "lock the door", Finn immediately turned around and told Hope "Seriously, Hope. You've got to stop. What are you doing. Get off me!" when she fell on top of him.
