What i was thinking. It's absurd. I could get if Hope made a serious mistake and it forced Steffy to shut her line but this is just laughable. I don't think the big take-away from this episode was Hope being caught getting ready to have sex. It's that Steffy is going to misinterpret it. Either she'll cut Hope's line or fire her because she thinks she was coming on to Finn. Or Hope will tell her it was Carter she was waiting for and then Carter will be fired, too. And who knows what will happen, then. It's possible Carter will then do one of these hostile take overs he's been talking about.

People having sex at FC has never been an issue, at least not as long as I've been watching. Most of them have done it. And that's not what the issue is here, either. It's that Steffy thinks Hope went against her demand to stay away from her husband.
I guess Hope is going to stay quiet, to protect Carter. It will be interesting to see what Carter's reaction will be to this. Today he said that Hope and Brooke will always be protected. I wonder if he'll start a new company with them or maybe do a hostile takeover of FC.

If/when she finds out that Hope was expecting Carter to walk in, not Finn, what is she going to do? Fire her for having sex at the office? Most of the characters are guilty of that. She can say that Carter was mixing business with pleasure by supporting someone he's involved with. But that's on Carter, not Hope.
