Everyone is touching upon the horrors of the upcoming Bold episodes. I pray that the ‘Rock On’ dance scene is just a dream. Hunter Tylo is the best Taylor. They keep drifting farther and farther away from the original character. Hope has also turned into an unrecognizable character. Are they trying to get cancelled? They do have me stumped with the murder mystery. But I am afraid that the outcome will most likely be underwhelming. I know it is a task for the writers to keep things fresh and exciting all of the time. They have to continue all year round. So I will give them a break until fall, but they better get their act together. Haha.

If Bell just wanted it canceled, he just wouldn’t accept the next offer and let it go. This comes up every couple of years. Bell isn’t forced to sign, so if he is ready to thrown in the towel, he simply won’t. He has no need to make the show bad to get it canceled, he holds the power to decide if he wants to continue or not.

Yes, you are correct. Bell Productions owns the whole show, and CBS just distributes it, with the option of first refusal to renew. CBS does own YR. If CBS chooses to not renew with Bell, he can move to another network or streaming service once the contract with CBS is up. CBS/Sony owns no rights to BB. This may come down to a time when Bell just wants to retire, and there is no one else in the Bell family that wants to take the show over. BB is very popular in other countries, and I think if they put it on a streaming service it might pick up a larger audience. The show at one time was the most watched tv show in the world. It is still the most watched soap opera in the world. So, I imagine Bell could find another distributer if he needs to.

It often feels to me that the writers don’t even know or care about the history of the show. There is no effort made to develop plots or link stories with the past in a believable manner. Characters are basically destroyed for storylines that simply don’t make sense.

LOL....it does look really lame and stupid. I was like some here, kind of cringed watching the clip....I always wonder if the actors just laugh in embarrassment when they have to do these kind of scenes. I also wonder where they hide the band and amp system when someone just starts belting out a song in the living room. They are always amped up and synthesized. Does Eric have a band on stand-by living in a guest house?

If he does it’s gotta be Lawrence welk guys or opera band…..i mean this dance party gig is waco…Brooke Hiney rubbing while dancing and Hope in that weirdo dress…it was really odd..and Ridge even swaying would be a joke …but steffy and Finn fit dancing but in Eric’s parlor too waco
