Why all the popping of the breath mints? Seems every time RJ goes to kiss her, she has to get a breath mint. Is there something medically wrong? It is kinda silly. Go brush your teeth properly and use mouth wash for goodness sake. Weird.

She probably just has anxiety. And is new to kissing & intimacy. They write her very young which doesn’t go along with the story they have told us about her but anyway. I remember being in high school and chewing gum a bunch on dates just in case. I don’t think I would classify it as a mental disorder.
Maybe she had an incident where someone said her breath smelled.

We are getting desperate to dig this deep for motivation of a soap character. LOL. I do the same thing. But IMO that is how I know this show is on fumes. We are all looking for a reason for the silliness.

Yea, popping breath mints so often is weird. Does Luna have horribly bad breath? Is she OCD? I don’t see another option.

There is a such thing as having a condition in which you think you stink. And you're constantly trying to mask an odor that others might not even smell.
What I wonder is if there's the reverse condition in which people don't get that they really DO stink. Others smell them but they cant smell themselves!

I guess it was to set up this dumb story but like everything else it’s overdone. I have never seen two characters pop pills and mints like these two. Poppy is a Pill Popper and maybe Luna is Looney! I have got a feeling they should have listened to Li.

I agree. I don’t get the popping the mints. Every time RJ gets close, Luna has to have a mint. Weird. Also weird if this is all they can come up with for a story line

Yes. She has plot device syndrome. I’d guess it mysteriously disappears once it’s served its purpose.
