I thought FC was swimming in the dough from the HFTF revenue? So is Thomas/Zende/Hope benched, will they just hang around and twiddle their thumbs or will Thomas/Zende be repurposed to junior designers under Eric/RJ.

They pull it for a line that didn't win the competition and probably will have dresses the average person can't afford. It seems like all the other lines are on hold for Eric's line. Also which fashion house only has ONE line going at a time? If Eric's line is so expensive (dripping in diamonds and all that) shouldn't someone speak to him gently about making sure the company stays afloat.

What is going on with this show? Seriously. At the beginning of the year, we were told how important HFTF was to Hope and how important it was to Forrester. It was bleeding numbers because Eric and Zende were pulled off Couture to design it.

Thomas came back, turned it into a sensation, and they all had the time of their lives in Rome. Did the Baby and Johnny "And I owe it all to you" dance and everything.

Then Hope was all about changing the image, and Thomas was still designing. Hope was even the "It" girl or whatever. Now suddenly, all that is just gone? Stopped?

Zende said today that they weren't "posting" to the line anymore -- whatever that means. I don't get it. All that hype about keeping HFTF afloat earlier this year and now it's just dead in the water?

Of course, this is what I want. I'm sick of HFTF, but make it make sense because Zende and Eric, according to HFTF's storyline earlier this year, worked together on not only HFTF, but also Couture! Now Zende is back on HFTF again?

I'm confused.

I get your confusion, but in the past they have already put a line on the back burner because of money issues:

eg. 2018, when HFTF had to be benched because glamour, Steffy's line and Hope's were too expensive for FC, no budget for all three of them.

But yes, it is weird that they can have all lines kinda doing well and still they put one successful line on the back burner.

I guess designing for the younger generation is out and now we have two senior designer doing gowns ..new vision or back to the olden days …..why they would drop the youthful line is dumb….as far as zende I think he may get little airtime then go back in closet too bad waste of the guy I loved him telling ridge off…. I think it’s to bring Hope and Tom closer fighting for the line

Probably half of the problems on the show in recent memory have been caused or exacerbated by Ridge’s failure to communicate, going back to not telling Brooke he was leaving her over the CPS call. The silly fashion showdown essentially happened because Ridge didn’t communicate with Eric when Eric expressed a desire to work with him on one last line. Ridge just blew Eric off. Yesterday we had Ridge royally messing things up with Zende because he didn’t tell him (like he told the other grandchildren) that Eric is dying. Now the plug is pulled on HFTF. Did he even tell Eric that? Does Eric seriously know that HFTF will be ended or suspended so the company can afford to produce his line? Would he want that for the next generation of designers or for FC itself, or is Ridge not even telling Eric what he’s doing?
