Li said she got Poppy a job in the hospital gift shop, and Poppy betrayed her by having an affair with a married doctor, which reflected badly on him and on Li since she got Poppy the job. (I don't buy that.) But she never said Poppy became pregnant from the affair. No one has mentioned Luna's father as far as I know.

It seems a bit strange that if Luna is Bill's child Poppy would warn Luna, over the phone, to stay away from the Forresters. After all, Bill is a Spencer and usually doesn't get along with the Forresters.

Poppy denied knowing Bill when he spoke to her at Il Giardino, but the way Poppy said it, she seemed to be lying. It seemed she recognized Bill and does know him.

I'm not sure. I think it may just be a tease. Bill may very well have had a one-night stand with Poppy at some point, and that could just be further proof that she is promiscuous. Bill, being her father, has zero impact on the story, and his having a third unknown child is pretty dumb.

Mostly, it wouldn't be why Li hates Poppy and Luna. She wouldn't know that information, and Naomi has implied there is more to her anger than what we have seen. It also has no impact on Finn.

After thinking about it, I agree with you. I don't think Luna is Bill's child, but I do think the two encountered each other somewhere. Poppy seemed to recognize Bill even though she denied knowing him.

The main reason I no longer think Luna will be Bill's is because Poppy was warning Luna about the Forresters when she was speaking over the phone. Bill's a Spencer. So what's the deal with the Forresters? I've no idea.

I would absoloutely HATE this. Bill does not need another long lost child. It is stupid and boring. Finn and Liam do not need to share a relative. Luna being Finn's cousin and Li's niece is sufficient to keep her canvas. Hopefully, this is just a red herring.

This is hilarious if true :lol Talk about lack of originality. I can just imagine the writers now; "Hey we need to create a connection between this new character and someone already on screen. Who should we connect her to?" "I know, let's make her Bill's daughter". "Umm, doesn't Bill already have two sons who he didn't know about and who have different mothers? You want to create a third baby mama for him?" "Why not? We don't have to waste any time or energy thinking up a new scenario if we use one that's already been done to death. Plus, I'm sure the audience will love it!" " You know, you're right! Let's do it!"

On another note, I just realized there were only two Spencers when the show started. And now it seems this family won't stop growing, and not just with the next generation, but with unknown progeny that keep popping up out of nowhere!

Bill could have been drunk or maybe it was a one-nighter, and he doesn't recognize her after 20+ years. Or maybe Bill's not Luna's father at all. I think you are right. I wish they wouldn't make all of the new characters related to an existing character on the show. It makes it creepy when they start pairing couples. If they would have left Wyatt unrelated to anyone else, then Hope and Steffy would not have been dating Liam's brother after having affairs with Liam. I guess the writers like to keep it all in the family.
