I read back over it. Apparently, Ziggy was the maintenance man or manager at Sheila's apartment. She was hiding out in there and heard Lance say there was a bee hive out there and he's allergic to bees. He only said it to Ziggy. Sheila paid Ziggy to supply Amber with drugs and Lance to drug her drink and sleep with her. They didn't have sex, but Amber woke up in his bed.

I guess Lance decided that he was gonna tell Amber if he didn't get $100k. Or he was gonna tell anyway after he got the $100K. Either way, Sheila put a stop to that nonsense by flooding his room with bees.

The coroner was talking about it after it happened and said the window was open with no screen and the bees just flew in there. I assume those are the bees he was talking about when he mentioned a bee hive outside. They said he'd been eating some kind of sandwich and there was honey on him. That sounds to me like it wasn't even ruled a homicide.

Ziggy came back and asked Sheila if she'd had anything to do with it. She denied it and then he helped her when Taylor came snooping at Lance's because Sheila needed to get in there and get the bag of money. Taylor was snooping about Amber being drugged, not Lance's cause of death, but it did raise her brows.

I'd still love to know how the FBI found out about this and why they were investigating a death not ruled a homicide. I know there are some who do not care as long as Sheila is put away, but I care because I care about SLs and continuity. So I'd like to discuss it.

For context Sheila was wanted for kidnapping her daughter and shooting Stephanie all of those years ago. So him telling wasn't just about her plan falling through but her and her daughter being exposed.

My only guess is Mike, but he wasn't around then. Maybe there is another character from her past that she may have told?

A confession alone is not enough to convict someone of murder, so they would need more evidence. I don't know how true to life this will be, but in theory, either they already have it from somewhere and just needed the confession, or this falls apart. So what you're asking could be an important part of the story.

I wish they would be realistic because they'd have to exhume Lance or they'd have to get a ME to change the cause of death. It was very plain that they thought the bees flew in through the open window with no screen, attracted by the sandwich he'd eaten.

Exactly...... And if we are realistic here, just because Shelia put bees in Lance's room does not mean those bees would have attacked a sleeping person. It was the honey that attracted the bees. If Lance had cleaned himself up after eating, the bees would not have crawled on him eating the honey.

Even though Shelia confessed to putting the bees in his room, at most that is wreckless endangerment.

Yes, and if they were being realistic, a criminal like Sheila would have no problem lying and saying she told Bill what she did because he was turned on by that type of thing, and she could have said she knew about the case because she did live near the guy.

But if they were realistic, Sheila would still be in jail anyway and they don't have to do all this third level trapping to catch her.

Because that is exactly what the FBI caught on tape... Shelia could say that it was their weird form of foreplay. It was caught on tape that it made them "hot" and turned on. Something tells me that the audio part of Shelia's confession will disappear or there was some sort of computer glitch and it did not get caught on tape. Maybe stupid Ridge got so hot and bothered that he accidently hit the mute button on the recorder.

Maybe, but if it is on tape, a lawyer would point out how Bill was on her day and night to tell him something, and so she felt like she had to make up something to strengthen their bond.

Now that would be funny. Bill and Ridge would have gotten Sheila off the hook for shooting Finn and Steffy for nothing. Too bad Sheila spilled the beans before the wedding without a prenup. Sheila could have been rich.

Maybe she does lie.
Knowing that this is one of Bell's all-time favorite characters, I find it hard to believe he would have her go out like this. A big nothing.

It's hard to swallow that she has been free and in LA since Aug and she has done absolutely nothing other than bounce between Bill & Deacon and is going down for a crime from over twenty years ago. I was fine if they wanted to redeem her some and make her a lesser villain I was also fine with her doing villain things and going out with a bang but we didn't even get that...But I guess we will just have to wait and see.

Right? And the shooting of Finn and Steffy? Obviously, everyone gets away with attempted murder around there, so I'm not even trying to hear it about that.

I don't think anyone could have known. I guess Ziggy could have been arrested at some point for some crime like federal drug charges and decided to cut a deal with the feds. However that doesn't really work here because there was no proof that Shelia put the bees in his room.

And because the coroner didn't rule it a homicide.

Lance was just an inconvenient partner in crime / witness. First he accepted to participate in her plan against Amber but then he changed her mind and threatened to turn her in. So she decided to kill him. But I agree, it was never ruled as murder. Baker was already there at the time (he started in 1997). There was never an investigation.

Garin's death was an accident, as much as the rapist Eric pushed off the balcony to protect Lauren. I don't know how she can be charged with murder for this.

More like 40 years old (if not more). That Dr. Garin fell off the balcony several years before Taylor and Ridge had children. :lol
