Yeah, I don't think that's an opinion based on what we saw on screen. It is a fact.

I think there's gonna be something to it that makes it not that cut and dry. Because this is just too easy. At first, I thought this was manslaughter because she didn't directly kill him, the bees did. So I thought that meant her reckless actions and she should have known those actions would lead to his death meant manslaughter, but the way she explained it.....that ain't manslaughter. I gotta go back and get a better understanding of manslaughter, but I've seen people charged with it instead of murder when, to me, it was obviously murder. And I only make the distinction, even if I'm wrong, because the writers are making it, saying 1st degree murder is the only way to get her. If any legal eagles want to chime in to help me out on this, I'd appreciate figuring out where i"m confused on manslaughter.

But still. This is all too dumb and too easy. I am very disappointed that a villain of her caliber will go out this way. B&B needs to do better.

Murder means you intended to end the person's life, but it's tricky because manslaughter can mean you intended to do harm but not necessarily to kill them.

Sheila is a nurse. She knows what it means to be allergic to bee poison, people have died stung by one bee only. No one would believe her if she said it was just a prank. And she locked him in. He screamed for help but she only watched and smirked. (Yes, I know that Sheila was the only witness so they would know only what she told them.)

Yes, sure, but it's whatever Bell writes as already demonstrated by the inconsistent, unrealistic plot so far. As i said of other ideas, he probably wouldn't do it but it's not any more Farfetched than what they've done to now.

Being a nurse doesn't mean you always think of the ramifications of your actions. If she had said she didn't realize he was allergic and just wanted to scare him because he was blackmailing her, it would be manslaughter. I don't think anyone is saying (at least I'm not) it wasn't murder, just that in a case like this it would be almost impossible to prove intent.

As a nurse in NC you BETTER think of your actions or the Board on will suspend your license so fast. If they will suspend your license for a DWI with no harm to anyone what do you think they would do if you intentionally harmed someone

Yes, but she wasn't a nurse at the time. She had already lost her license years before. Her being a nurse at one time is not relevant in this situation.

It is so completely out of character, especially after her being suspicious. Also, two weeks ago, she said he was driving her crazy, and she didn't want to be with him. It's hard to believe this is the way Bell would take down Sheila Carter. It feels like there must be more to this, but maybe not.

Looking at the spoilers, I am so confused.

Yeah, it is confusing because Deacon does make a statement to her that she can't keep running. I have to look at what they were wearing to make sure it wasn't an old scene. You know how they throw those in sometimes.

I am so disappointed. There has to be something else because to take her down off this so many years later off a B character.....come on.....SMH

I am pretty sure she is wearing the same outfit and looks quite distressed.

Bell Sr is rolling over in his grave if he is really taking down Sheila with this nonsense. I am totally fine with a villain doing villain stuff and paying for it, but at least take her out with a bang. If this was the end game, she could have spent the Fall wreaking havoc on everyone instead of making out with Deacon.

Taylor knew about the bees. She was supporting Amber through her pill addiction or whatever at that time, and she tracked down Lance to get details about the night he ended up in bed with her. Only to find that he had died from a bee allergy. It wouldn't be hard to put the pieces together once everyone realized Sheila was in town. Ziggy also probably figured it was her. And Deacon joked about that first night at the bar, so it probably became like an urban myth.

I am still finding it hard to believe that the FBI would be involved with this. Could there be something else going on? Also, wasn't Mike supposed to appear?

This is going to be one of those stories where I have to shut off my brain and just watch and see because something doesn't seem right here.

I would never put together that Sheila filled a room full of bees just from him dying from an allergy and if so, they should have pursued that back then. I get you're just theorizing, though.

I have been wondering if it is a fantasy..... Shelia doesn't really want to be with Bill, her joy at accepting the proposal is so OTT. Bill has no idea that Shelia doesn't really want him. He is just so cocky that he thinks his plan is working. Bill has a history of murderous fantasies.

I could maybe see Sheila confessing under different circumstances. But the fact that she doesn't love Bill, and they made that abundantly clear a few weeks ago, really has me dumbfounded. Also, who would confess that way to a lover? To know exactly the information he is looking for? Isn't there a long list of secrets Sheila might name? I am hoping they have something else up their sleeve, especially since it is only Mon cause this really is not it.

It annoys me that they're revisiting such old stuff. I mean Brooke was pregnant with Hope at the time Lance died. That means it happened more than 30+ years ago. The one with Dr. Garvin was more than 40 years. In most countries the statute of limitation is between 25 and 30 years. I know it's not the case in the US, but it's still stupid. Other people were killed (accidentally or not) a lot more recently. Darla, Aly, Emma. When are the murderers going down?

This confession shouldn't even be valid in courts. Again, in most countries you have to confess in a court of law or a police station. Sheila was in her own home with her fiancee who played her for months. A fiancee who is a serial attempted killer himself. The person behind the camera (Ridge) has been involved in a couple of attempted murders and accidents as well. I have no problem if Sheila goes to jail but then half of the cast should follow her. Starting with Ridge and Bill.

None of this would likely stand up in court IRL just like Ridge wouldn't be doing surveillance and the FBI wouldn't orchestrate bribery and blackmail or be working on a non-Federal case.

It's very odd. Why not come up with a more recent crime that happened while she was away from LA between 2017 and 2021? It just seems too easy to have her confess to these things.

You brought up Emma. Makes me think of Ridge's nerve to go after Sheila when his son did that to Emma, and he knows it.

No, Sheila definitely is not that stupid and careless after all the crimes and bad deeds she has committed.
Whatever all this bull that Bill is handing her about HIS feelings for her and salivating about her freeing herself by admitting to her bad deeds, I have some swamp land if she is believing one word of all of that.

The whole story line, complete with Ridge and FBI is boring. Plus dragging Katie and Brooke into it by just standing around talking about Ridge and why he is still a no show. They clearly are not into any other story line now as if on or off with Carter and Brooke was not into the pizza guy.

I know the soap won't go this deep, but I'd like to go back and see if Lance's death was ruled a homicide. They can't arrest Sheila for murder without that ruling by the medical examiner's office. What would be interesting to me would be if she told police that she knew the case and made it all up to please Bill, who kept insisting she'd done something wrong and was turned on by her being a murderer.

But B&B probably won't go that route.

That's what is very odd about the whole thing. I can say anything. It doesn't mean I did it. Nothing about this story makes sense. The expectation that she might confess to the crimes they are investigating from decades ago. How would she even know what Bill was fishing for?

If someone kept asking me about past crimes, I very well might make some up and make it believable.

Yeah, that's what false confessions are. And they are very real. It's unfortunate but it happens.

In this case, too, I have to go back and look, but did they ever declare it a murder? Because if the coroner never ruled it a homicide, then they can't arrest her for it.

Of course with the convenient writing, this won't be an issue, but I am wondering how they decided that this was a murder. Didn't she take the ties back off his door? I mean, how'd they know where the bees came from? Were they still there when he was found?

I have to go back and rewatch.

Technically, Shelia can't control bees. Sure she put them in his room in hopes of getting rid of him, but she did not put the bees on Lance's body or injected him with a stinger to inject the poison. Lance freaked out when he saw the bees and caused them to sting him. He could have very well gotten a can of bug killer and killed them instead.

Yes, that's what I'm getting at. And if he had just sat down quietly, they wouldn't have stung him either. That's why I'm saying it's not murder one.

Exactly.... It is basically the same as when Bill tried to get rid of Amber. He wanted to kill her, he set it up to kill her by causing her to fall, and he intended to kill her but the wind and a branch took out Amber.... And just like Shelia, Bill walked away without checking to see if Amber was dead or alive.... The only difference is Amber survived. Still it was nature that actually took both Lance and Amber out.

If he were outside and was stung by a bee, that would be nature. She shook up a bottle of bees, released them into his bedroom, while he was sleeping, knowing he was severely allergic and made sure he could not escape from his room to get away from the bees. Sheila killed Lance, not nature. And it was definitely premeditated.

Shelia is not responsible for slob Lance eating a peanut butter and HONEY sandwich in bed and getting the sweet, bee attracting sticky goo all over his bed sheets and body. That is why the bees went to Lance, not because Shelia got them angry.

I know Shelia's intentions. However, the question was how would the law be able to pin a crime on Shelia. They can't. There is no evidence to convict. Those bees could have gotten into his bedroom on their own. They could have come through an open door or a tear in the screen.. Even if they can get a confession on tape, all she has to do is say that it was a part of a kinky sex game that she and Bill played. The FBI has it on tape that it is a "turn-on" for them to make confessions to crimes. I have pointed out how a good defense lawyer can spin it. I guess crocked law enforcement could always edit the tapes.

He didn't freak out when he saw the bees. He was awakened by the bees stinging him and they would not have been in his room if Sheila had not put them there, knowing that he was deathly allergic to them. She killed him and watched him die a horrible death.

So disappointed that the writers made this so easy to get Sheila to say these things. I'm glad they tossed out the Dr. Garvin thing because that was Bean Soup, but the Lance thing....I forgot she locked him in.

Anyways, I wish this had been better.

I made this a spoiler thread because of the previews -- in case you guys want to discuss that as part of what is going to happen with Sheila and why this SL is good or sucks to you.

+++++I have to make sure it's known, as a Sheila fan, I know she gets caught and gets in trouble and that's how it is for villains. Just trying to enjoy a good story for a villain, and for me, this ain't it.

Is it ending ? I hope so

I guess because I remember watching the Lance bee death story, I am disappointed that that’s the worse Sheila has done. It was a cruel death, but I assumed there was much more.

I remember watching, and I was completely shocked because it was the first time she'd done something like that and on that level. I couldn't forget about it because I was sure it would come out, but the writers seemed to have forgotten about it. Just like they did Taylor shooting Bill, but unlike that one, they decided Sheia won't get away with it 30 years later? SMH

I really don't appreciate any of it because I thought Sheila was always gonna "sheila" and she'd go on forever like Jason Vorhees or Michael Myers or Freedy Kruger or Candyman. Or Bugs Bunny or the Road Runner. I don't see the fun in Sheila getting caught. I want her to come in and give the self-righteous characters exactly what they deserve and then I want her to ride off into the moonlight.

A better story would have been to allow Shelia to evolve into a gray character. I guess there is no fun in that. I just empathize with the character to much. KB is able to convey Shelia's vulnerability.

Yep, and I'm not liking how this plot is going down. I find it amazing that the FBI doesn't care that Bill tried to kill Ridge anymore than they care that Taylor tried to kill Bill -- BUT they are going to spitroast Sheila on these two ancient deaths.

If they wanted Sheila to go over a balcony fighting with Bill, they really should have left Garvin's death out of it. It's just so wrong that they are trying to get her on that one when Ridge and Bill have played balcony dodgeball with people's lives, isn't it?

Does Bill know Ridge asked Sheila to kill him the day before Taylor pulled the trigger? :rofl

Right? I think Bill and Ridge are "committed" to each other enough now that Ridge should tell him. :-P

I was wondering the same thing. Now that Bill and Ridge are besties now, Ridge ought to tell him. Bill is now turned on by confessions, let that nugget be foreplay for them.

Bridgexy is much more believable and enjoyable than Trooke.

Why do bill and ridge think Sheila will just confess to her crimes out of the blue?
