the stupidest plot in history it was inevitable that it would all blow up. I suspect she plans to leave town and they realize it (maybe from Deacon) and the use Finn to lure her back to the house where they have this confrontation. Finn will save the day by getting her to Li a neurologist. She will survive and go free. Because big surprise there is no confession and now they have completely bungled the shooting case.
Bill will likely face charges because it's going to look like he planned to kill her and the cameras won’t show her going over.
I doubt she will spend much time in a coma. Will she have amnesia? That could be interesting or just allow Bill to go down as revenge. It’s hard to have any sympathy for Ridge or Bill when they could have just allowed her to stay in prison instead of playing hero. Will they be heroes to their families?

I mean I think Ridge can only say what he saw. And the FBI guy is also watching. You hear Bill threaten her yes she charges him (as any woman would after this bs) but Bill is a big guy it's suspicious. And Bill has been kind of unraveling. It's going to look bad. Also what Bill did was cruel. I get that Sheila deserves some cruelty but this seemed unnecessary.

Sheila is the queen of cruelty, stealing and switching babies, poisonings, kidnappings, shootings, attempted drownings, death by bees, walking away and leaving your own mother to burn to death. What Bill is doing is nothing compared to the cruelty Sheila has imposed on other people. She deserves what Bill was giving her and a lot more IMO.

IMO It just seems unnecessary when she could have just gone to prison. I thought it was fine when they used Hayes to get her to confess to the shooting. But this just felt gratuitous. To play on someone's vulnerabilities for months and now it looks like it will backfire. It doesn’t help that Bill is a terrible person who has done a long list of terrible things.
I am never a fan of gaslighting storylines though regardless of the character.

Not the stupidest one but one of the worst, for sure. With the 3 strikes law, they had everything they needed to put Sheila away forever. Steffy only had to say 1 word and it was a done deal.
Bill has a history of accidents and was involved in a couple of attempted murders so it isn't far-fetched to think the police may think he wanted to kill her. If I were Sheila I would definitely press charges against him. I'd have zero pity.
I have no sympathy for Ridge and Bill either. Quite frankly, I have none for Steffy, Finn and Taylor either. Taylor tried to kill a man and lied for years. Any good mother/grandmother would have gone to the police and confessed her crime. And if Steffy and Finn were truly afraid of Sheila and serious about putting her in jail, nothing Bill said or did should have changed their minds. They ultimately made the decision to set Sheila free and they keep prtotecting Taylor at the same time. They had the power to get rid of Sheila for good and didn't use it. They've all shown their true colors. Li is an idiot too. As soon as she got her memory back, she should have called the cops and asked the to look for the car and try to prove she rammed her and left her for dead. Why did she stay silent all this time? None of them are victims in this.
