He does not need anyone younger, he should be with someone his own age. I have no idea why younger would be better, it usually is not. In fact, they should try him with a woman 10 years older than him, she might be able to teach him a few things about how to treat women better.

Ridge dumped her at the altar and never suggested he wanted her back, now she acts like she is the one who made the decision. Brooke may have shut him down when he returned from his trip but she didn't dump him. He left her for Taylor, then he left Taylor. He never said he wanted Brooke back. I give Brooke some credit for not going after him but she needs to respect the promise she made. Brooke and Taylor said they don't need Ridge. They blamed him for his years of back and forth.. While they made plenty of mistakes themselves, they aren't wrong about Ridge. They said they've become friends and would never take Ridge back. Let's see how long it sticks.

If Ridge says he made a final decision and begs one of them for one last chance, that woman must be ready to slam the door on his face and make it crystal clear she isn't an option. If they see his "plan" with Sheila as heroic and want him back, then they are as dumber than a box of rocks. If RJ says he wants his parents together, Brooke needs to kindly put him in his place and make it clear it will never happen. If Brooke or Taylor cracks and takes him back, it will prove they didn't mean a word. It will prove their friendship was fake. It will prove they have no self-respect. It will prove they will always take Ridge back no matter what. It will prove they are liars are two-faced hypocrites - just like their daughter.
