ridge and bill move ahead with their fbi-aided plot to bring down sheila. thorsten kaye says, “i didn't know anything of this until i came back and there was ridge in the fbi office with agent chen and the great bill spencer. i was told that's what ridge has been doing, so that's great. it was fun to come back to something different and it's fun for me to play with don. he got something to sink his teeth into and he did. it was a nice twist."

says don diamont, “they are archrivals, yet they've come together for this common goal. i think what you will find in this is a begrudging respect that develops and for bill, ridge is his only link to the outside world so he has to lean on him." adds thorsten, "ridge is the one person who knows what bill is going through and so there becomes a frenemies alliance. he needs bill to protect his family and bill needs him for the same purpose. i think these two people always respected each other in a strange way. it's nice to see bill in that role because he usually plays the bad guy or the rogue which I think don enjoys, but this is really cool."

the question now is if sheila will continue to take the bait and believe that bill truly cares for her. diamont says, "that remains to be seen. bill has risked all of his relationships in order to make this happen but with sheila, you never know what can happen."
