Please don't let Taylor and Brooke end up being a couple. (General)

Taylor DID NOT dump Ridge. She was so desperate to get him she kept Thomas' dirty secrets from him. She literally BEGGED him not to leave. Ridge said he was done with her and left her at the altar. He made the decision to end the engagement and ran straight to Brooke, who said she needed time. The next day he went to her and she turned him down.

Thank you. She waited for him all day in her dirty wedding dress and he didn’t even bother to text to let her know if he would be back or not. Then she pulled a sour grapes and pretended to make a big show of dumping him, when she never even really had him to dump in the first place. Classic hypocrite Taylor.

It would get the show publicity but the ratings would tank. That can’t be Brooke’s life because of her history. Give that to Sheila, Thomas, Quinn, Paris, Flo, etc.

Right. My whole life I've been told how much Brooke LOVES men and sex with MEN, being appealing to MEN. Now this??? It wouldn't work for me.

Exactly right. Doesn’t work. Doesn’t fit. It’s far more interesting and more creative to portray them as newfound best friends of a certain age who care for and love one another but not as a romantic couple.

It would be nice that two women of a certain age can just find that they can be dear friends and not go beyond that. I’d say where no man has gone before but plenty of men have gone there with both of them.

But yeah, I don’t want them as a couple just because it doesn’t fit their history together and I think the writers would do it just to be ..I don’t know what the word is…just to do what seems to be current. With the times. It would be far more creative to show these two women as new found best friends who deeply care about and love each other. But not as a romantic couple.

They'd do it to be shocking because two iconic heterosexual female soap characters deciding love knows no boundaries and hooking up after decades of one of the characters being charred for using her "body" and "sex" to get men, suddenly wants a female.

That's what would be the biggest problem for me above everything. I have spent decades living Brooke's sexual awareness journey but they want to throw in a hairpin turn NOW???

A couple of times it looked like the writers had them looking dreamy eyed at each other. I kept saying, "please don't let them kiss". They are so much more entertaining being rivals. I do like that they both dumped Ridge. That unexpected twist was good.

Brooke and Stephanie friendship came out of a tragedy - Stephanie’s cancer. Brooke showed strength and character.
Stephanie admired that and they became friends. She still wanted Taylor as Ridge’s wife.because she could control Taylor

I don't see Bell Jr doing this except for shock value.
If he chooses to do this I feel it would be an insult to the LGBTQ+ community. Neither of these adult women have shown tendencies to be drawn to women. Suddenly they are drawn to each other. Makes NO sense.
This is LA. The fashion world. If you want to tell a story like this do it right from the start. Bring in actors and actresses who are part of that community. Make the story inclusive. Tell it well.
Don't have KKL and KA be forced to tell a story that neither woman can relate to or understand.
