Shown on screen, Steffy blackmailed Bill. Yet, she told Ivy (and Liam too) that “blackmail is a crime”. Per Steffy’s own words, she IS a criminal cuz she has blackmailed.

Attempted murder is a felony. It isn't up to Bill to "press charges". Cops don't care what Bill wants. Taylor is an attempted murderer and all the cops need is to find out, check her travel, and get her in prison, and Bill can say he doesn't want it all he wants - NOT his choice.

I agree except it’s Sheila and she won’t be satisfied until she’s in with Finn and Hayes. Since Steffy isn’t having that (neither is Finn) Sheila would go after Steffy or anyone else who gets in her way. She’s a sociopath so there is no way to believe she will stay to herself and a life with Bill and not revert to her evil ways. She’s dangerous. That won’t change.
But I am sick of the SL. It will drag out longer though.
