Yes it is. It was sad when Brooke did it and it's sad now that Taylor is doing it. The difference is that that was the past. Ridge got over Taylor when she died and moved on with Brooke. Sadly Taylor has never been able to accept that. Whereas Brooke eventually always accepted that Ridge didn't want her. She had other men in her life. It was Ridge that was unable to let her go completely even when he was married to Taylor.

Taylor will be fine as long as Steffy and Thomas are available, Brooke simply STOP LIVING when Ridge go away from her, in spite of all the nasty things, marrying several times to other women before Brooke, and Brooke get to the alter when they all are declared DEAD. Brooke states continually that Ridge is her destiny, poor woman.

It was Ridge who started the destiny thing, not Brooke. And Taylor is obviously not fine without Ridge. In her own words she stayed away because she couldn't bear to see him and Brooke happy together. She wasn't even able to be there for her kids due to that which is just the saddest thing. She has admitted that even after 16 years she has been unable to get over him. And Ridge does always go back to Brooke no matter who catches his eye temporarily. This time will be no different. He will end up at Brookes again on his wedding day, lol.

I'm a little confused by your comment that Brooke stops living when Ridge goes away. She might be sad for awhile, but she always rebounds and turns things around. Yes, she does continue to call Ridge her destiny, but how is that any different from Eric and Stephanie who always ended up back together despite the many women that Eric betrayed Stephanie with. And, what about Taylor who has never looked at another man and continues to call Ridge her one true love despite the number of times he's walked away from her at the altar and the indifference he's shown her for over 15 years. Brooke is not the only woman on this show who puts up with horrible behaviour and still finds forgiveness.

It was Ridge who started the whole "destiny" thing, and I guess he believes it, too, because it's Brooke he loves more than anyone else. He loves her more than he loved Caroline (either one) and much more than Taylor. When Taylor and Ridge were both single, Ridge had zero interest in her. The Taylor and Ridge ship sailed and went down years ago. For her to try to trap him now is beyond pathetic. What was she going to use to keep him tied to her? She's far too old to get pregnant, so that's out.

Taylor stayed away for years because of Brooke and Ridge. Brooke has been sad for what? A week? A few days? And in the space of those few days, two other men have proposed to her, and Ridge will be returning to her. Taylor sure is looking like the loser to me. LOL

We could say exactly the same about Taylor but she is much worse and pathetic. Brooke moves on. She has her family, her career but we haven’t seen Taylor in years when she isn’t crying about what Brooke took from her. Brooke didn’t take anything from Taylor. She lost Ridge all on her own. Brooke is pathetic? What about the woman who is ready to marry Ridge even though she knows now that it's only because of a lie? The woman who jumped into bed with Ridge at the first sign that he wanted to be with her, without even asking him when he's divorcing his wife? The woman who simply doesn't care that he lied to her about why he's with her even though she gave a huge lecture about how he needs to love her for herself? If anything that woman is the most pathetic on the show at this time.

Ridge has always loved Brooke. When they were young - Ridge was a player. He loved Caroline and Brooke but he was engaged to Caroline first. And there was a lot of other stuff in between because of competition with Thorne.
Taylor was Caroline’s doctor then Ridge’s psychiatrist. He thought she was honest and true. Brooke was too playful, but when Taylor died he realized who he loved.
Taylor hid more than one thing from Ridge and that was under Papa Bell., so to say the son made these changes is not really correct.
This Taylor is the same, phony, judgmental hypocrite.m, she has always been.

Well, Brooke and Ridge have a son and a history and over two decades together as man and wife. And, Taylor, despite having 10 years and family with Ridge is not his wife and hasn't been in over 15 years. And, unlike Brooke, Taylor has been dumped at the altar by Ridge 3 times. Yikes.

That's simply not true. Brooke was never a nobody to Ridge or Eric. Both of them were deeply in love with her years before that fight over the BeLieF formula. Eric even wanted to stay married to her at all cost after he learned about her affair with Ridge. And the only reason Ridge chose Taylor over her in 1992 was his father's happiness.

Neither Ridge nor Eric wanted to kick Brooke out of the company in 1993. They just succumbed to Stephanie, who persuaded them that tricking Brooke out of her rights was the only way to keep FC in the family. Ridge even tried to warn Brooke before she signed the contract, but she didn't listen. And both Ridge and Eric would have loved to keep Brooke at FC as an employee if that had been possible. The fact that they didn't want to lose their family's company to her doesn't mean they wanted her gone.

And if Taylor had Ridge for over 10 years because their kids were aged when they were married, then Brooke had Ridge for even longer, because Rick, Bridget and Hope were all aged too while Bridge were married.
