The fact that he thought for a second that she would've done something like that without telling anyone shows his blatant lack of respect for and for their relationship.
I am hoping beyond hope that Stephen and Brooke's sisters make her see that any apology he attempts to offer are hollow at this point and that actions speak louder than words. He's going to need to lose her to appreciate what he's lost.

Her mom would wind up hurt? Her mom KNOWS the truth, and yet was still going to go through with the wedding! Steffy had to step up because her mom kept her mouth shut. I find that so desperate and thirsty... and it really disappointed me. I was hoping Taylor would pull Ridge aside and have an 'honest' conversation about it - let him digest it and wrap his head around it, and if he still wanted to get married then they would get married. That would have redeemed her somewhat in my eyes for her behavior for just the past few months. It just confirmed my opinion that Taylor wanted Ridge at all costs. And Ridge saying he just wanted to be with someone who didn't lie to him, when in fact that is exactly what Taylor was doing (a lie of ommission!) is karma. Let them both marinate in Karma. I also really hope that Brooke's 'epiphany' is that what she thought was her 'Destiny' was a lie. He has treated her so badly - this is not the first time but it is the worst I have seen... I hope she comes to the conclusion that her idea of Destiny was an illusion. And she can move on.

Yup, Steffy is the mastermind and Thomas is her little toady. The only reason Steffy is changing her tune now is because the toady has crossed a line. She was fine with things like hacking into security systems and hijacking phones but she knows that a Tridge marriage wouldn't hold up if it was based on that CPS call lie.

LOLOLOL So the Tridge story was just a story about how foul Thomas is and how desperate Taylor is to steal Ridge from Brooke. I love it.
Finally there is something for me to watch. The Terrible Tridges get a huge smack down. I have to say I really applaud Steffy for doing this. We all saw how much she wanted her parents married. But her reasoning for stopping the wedding is sound. If Ridge married the homewrecker he would not have made her happy. He would constantly be thinking of Brooke, the one he loves desperately, if not very well.
Now the question is, does Brooke show Ridge the door and tell him to go think about his latest betrayal? Hope she at least reminds him of his big part in her heartache.

Not surprised. If she could lie to Ridge for 12 years about her adultery, she can lie about this too. She knows Ridge doesn't love her like he does Brooke. She knows if she tells him about Thomas, he will want Brooke back. Lying is her only way to trap him in this loveless marriage.

I do not believe this is about propping Brooke. I don’t know why there’s always blame leveled at Brooke. The character who changed the most is Steffy in this story. Steffy has gone from being the evil daughter to the heroine at breakneck pace. Thomas didn’t do this on his own. Steffy talked up the whole thing. The Brooke and Ridge characters are in the background. These veterans are opening doors for the other characters. Veterans don’t need propping.
I think all this talk about "propping" a character is just nonsense...People who don´t like Brooke will say this story is used for "propping" her, but one could also say it´s a story for "propping" Taylor by giving her a Tridge love story and wedding or "propping" Steffy by letting her be the heroine who finally tells what Tom did...I think all characters in this story are necessary to tell it and talking about who is "propping" who is just a way to try and insult a character. JMO.

Does Steffy let Ridge know Taylor knew or does she stay tight lipped on that?

What a load of BS..so this viewer is suppose to forget that Steffy didn't declare a war against Brooke?! The ring leader Steffy didn't tell her brother that they must do something to rid of Brooke for good?! Thomas faked the CPS call because he was following Steffy's demands. I despise Thomas, but to act like Steffy suddenly has a conscience and must tell the truth is totally laughable IMO. What a load of BS..so this viewer is suppose to forget that Steffy didn't declare a war against Brooke?! The ring leader Steffy didn't tell her brother that they must do something to rid of Brooke for good?! Thomas faked the CPS call because he was following Steffy's demands. I despise Thomas, but to act like Steffy suddenly has a conscience and must tell the truth is totally laughable IMO. Agree! Steffy has been a manipulative witch forever. Now she's the heroine? If anyone is being propped, it's Steffy. And Thomas is thrown under the bus to do it. He's going to take all the blame for the parent trap.
