I'm over Li whining about Jack's betrayal (General)

How long is she gonna whine and blame Jack for lying about his ONS with Sheila? How long is she gonna punish him and treat him like she is better than him? She says she will never get over it.

The secret Li kept from him was a thousand times worse. For weeks she let Jack agonize, thinking his son was dead. She let him cry and grieve all alone. The whole time she knew Finn was alive and she kept that monstruous secret from her husband, Finn's FATHER. That was very cruel, egoistic, self-serving.

I can accept that she isn't going to lose her medical licence for kidnapping a patient and signing a fake death certificate. But I can't tolerate her snotty, judgemental attitude towards Jack... and also towards Steffy. She made everyone think Finn was dead and lied for weeks. She needs to get over herself and look in a mirror. She kept the biggest secret, she can't say anything about Jack's.

She has the right to decide if she wants to be with a certain kind of man or not. If she doesn't want to be with a cheater then so be it.
Li took Finn from a hospital where doctors gave up on him and when she told Steffy that she would ask her to take him back to that place she was silent because she probably realized that she would. Even Sheila initially asked Li to take Finn back to the hospital. Li doesn't know Steffy enough to trust her. Steffy's decisions could harm Finn or maybe they wouldn't, but Li couldn't be sure about her. For all she knew she could ask for Finn's peaceful death. Finn's chances were super slim. He was probably going to die... Li had the best intentions while Jack wanted to have some fun on the side... So no. What Jack did is far worse. He had an easy choice... Sex with Sheila or being faithful to his wife. He didn't do it to safe someone's life, but to satisfy his primitive needs. He also convinced a vulnerable Sheila to give her baby up and he had no idea how psychotic she was.
Li was more than patient with Steffy. She shouldn't raise her voice at her like that... The fact that she was waiting for Finn to walk out the door showed what a snake she is. Taylor, as much as I dislike her was able to express her opinion to Li in a respectful manner and Li reacted to it completely differently than to Steffy's disrespectful yelling. I wish Li would have known about Steffy's past and her cheating on Finn and become a mother in law from hell like Stephanie was to Brooke, but I know the writers won't do that to precious Steffy so I can keep on dreaming.
Besides, this is exactly what Stephanie Forrester did when she saved Felicia. She didn't want everyone to have false hope so she kept it a secret... Was it worse than cheating on a spouse for fun too or somehow was it different?

Also who is to say that this is not what help put Shelia on the crazy train... He all but agreed with Shelia's accusations of how he manipulated and took advantage of her to give up Finn.... It is obvious by the timeline that Finn is older than Scotty/Dylan so maybe that is why she targeted Scott Granger and got pregnant by him.

I can see it from both sides, but I do think Li could have given Jack another chance. Yes he cheated, yes he lied, but it was a long time ago. That doesn’t erase 30 plus years of marriage. Jack was in a predicament, he was conned by Sheila as well. The only good thing that came out if it was Finn, and Li should remember that.

I don’t think Li has gone on and on about it…when did she have time? She simply said why she is done with Jack…it wasn’t a one night stand, btw, it was ongoing. Sheila talked about that with Jack. Regardless, Li said okay he cheated…but worse, he never let her know the child they adopted was actually his biological child…now come on, that wouldn’t really bother you for a long time? She just found that out less than a year ago! And she felt he allowed the maniac Sheila into their lives by never fessing up…he knew Sheila had been in trouble with the law, etc…so then Sheila shows up at the wedding, insinuated herself into the family, and ultimately nearly killed Finn…and Steffy. This all happened like 4 months ago…she lived for nothing but keeping Finn alive for all these months…but you think she already shouldn’t talk about what Jack did and why she can never trust him again when this all just happened? She should just snap out of it…get over it…never talk about it? I think she’s been very stoic…and heroic. And I have no problem with anything she has said.

As for letting Steffy grieve….she said she was sorry and maybe would have done it differently if she had not so frantically been trying to keep Finn alive. She said she was sorry but won’t apologize for what she did during that time because her focus was her son. And she said had she gotten to the point where Finn was awake, she would have told Steffy but why get her hopes up when Finn’s condition was so fragile.

I think Li is strong, caring, intelligent, enduring, honest, straightforward, devoted, kind, and thoughtful meaning she thinks deeply about things. I like her. I don’t fault her. And she deserves a chance to unburden herself. Who else has stood by her? Nobody. Except Finn and Li is too good a mother and too decent a person to lay any of her hurt in all of this on her son. She only wants him safe, healthy and happy with his wife and child and stepchild.

I would have done exactly the same thing as Li, but for some reason, I don't like her, and I can't figure out why. Maybe it's because she seems to have a bad temper at times. She might soften up with Bill, and I'll come to like her more.
