Did the witch from hell really say that she was with Eric and not Carter because she was scared to hurt Eric? Wasn't she scared to hurt him when she was actively targeting the people he loves with her schemes, when she kissed his son behind his back and slept with one of his best friends? She wanted to stay with Eric for the prestige and that's why she was crying today... She mourned the mansion and the social status that being a wife of a celebrity was giving her. She didn't stay with Eric because she's a nice person... She's just not a good person. Everything she does is self serving. And what was with this whole "you did to me exactly what I did to you" thing she said to Eric? He didn't do what she did to him. She betrayed him so many times it's hard to count. She cheated on him with two men, but it's not even the worst part... She constantly schemed and did so many things to his loved ones behind his back it's ridiculous. If Eric would behave like Quinn she would push him off the cliff. Eric is way too nice while parting ways with her. He shouldn't be that nice and he should do it sooner. Also before he started seeing Donna. However even what he did at the end of their relationship doesn't come close to all the times Quinn harmed Eric during their marriage.

He said he wanted to tell Quinn the truth and it looked like it was impulsive and he decided then at the spot and he still didn't know that he will decide it when he was leaving the house.

I think Eric knows you can't control who you fall in love with. I think he never forgave Quinn for not being the changed women she said she was.

Quinn had kidnapped a man her son's age, and was willing to never see her son again if her kidnapnee would have run away with her. She raped the man she kidnapped over and over and over again. She lied to him. She doctored Steffy's photos and told him they were her. She's a mega-serial liar. She tried to kill Deacon, and when she thought she accomplished it, she walked away with a smile on her face, a smile after a murder. She's worse than Thomas who does have mental issues. She almost certainly killed Ricardo Montemayor for a diamond. She put a diamond over a man's life. It wasn't even her diamond. She indulges in kiddie pranks like sending photos to ruin Brooke's marriage, spiking Brooke's drink and encouraging Zoe to spike Paris'. And that's just the tip of the iceberg, just the very beginning.
Quinn is a heinous monster with no moral compass at all.

Quinn wasn't taught that as a child. She had to learn humanity on her own and that's not always easy. Trust is hard for Quinn and she had to fight so long for everything she got that it's hard to change that default behavior.

Most people do learn humanity on their own and trust does not come easily to many. Welcome to adulthood and middle-age, Quinn. She needs to grow up and act like a responsible, compassionate human being like most of the world does.
The excuses might work if she were 18, but Quinn left young adulthood long, long ago. She's a mid-50s woman who knows she can't adjust and revels in her horrid qualities, when she should be getting the intensive psychiatric help she needs.

Quinn never came clean about poisining Paris' smoothie, spiking Brooke's drink, threatening Donna with the chair, manipulating Bill to keep Brooke away from Ridge. She is lying by omission about all these things, and more.

She crocodile cried more today than she ever did when Eric found out about her and Ridge. Than she did when Eric found out about her and Carter. She was so insincere. I feel no sorrow for her. Steffy told her to stay away from the family. She wanted that photo over the mantle. Now she can take it with her as the door hits her on the butt on the way out.

I don’t think keeping score is ever useful. I believe Quinn really wanted to make things work with Eric because she loves him…not his wealth and she hardly enjoyed any prestige as his wife for many reasons some of which she caused herself. I believe she wanted to make amends …she feels Eric helps her be a better person. Does she still love Carter? Yes. It’s possible to have those feelings for more than one person but she has worked hard not to act on them and recommit herself to Eric. Eric was wrong not to have said from the start, “I forgive you…and I played a big part in this mess, too. But I think our marriage cannot be rebuilt. I wish you well.” That’s what he should have done rather than going down to the level to which he sunk.
