In that case, Sheila did Brooke a favor. Brooke deserves better than a boomerang that has been going back and forth for over 30 years. Let the boring teeny bopper doc have him. They can sit with their feet on the sofa, slurp noodles and make hand puppets on the wall together.

I just watched the show. He was fine, he told her he would always protect her. She is no wimp and he can see that too. Someone said that they did not hold hands, yes they did, and then he said he had to go, and she was sitting there with her hand still in the air as he left. They looked at each other with love, and unlike Taylor, Brooke seems strong and able to take care of herself, and Ridge saw that in her. She even said if Sheila showed at the door, she would call the cops before she called him, and he laughed. What I got from the scene was it was reworked to accommodate KKL's injury. I also still maintain this is only the 2nd day after the noodle slurp, arm punching fest, at Eric's house. I also notice that Ridge is not doing much with Taylor either anymore. His scenes with her in the office were her showing up uninvited, they find out about Sheila escaping, they call Li, and Ridge immediately talks about Brooke. We will not see Bridge reunited until after MC, but I am guessing we won't be seeing much with Tridge either, except them being there when Sinn is reunited. I think they are going to take Finn to Steffy, and their "scenes" will be with Finn on the plane, and watching Steffy and Finn seeing each other. JMO

Monaco doesn't have an airport, though, only a heliport to ferry the gamblers back and forth. So they'd land in Nice, then drive or be driven to Monte Carlo. Or take the helicopter.

I am starting to think he would be very content to live at Eric's the rest of his life, having Dummy bring him Lo Mein from Santa Barbara, and tell him how wonderful and marvelous he is, all while he is telling Brooke how much he loves her. The dude has yet to tell Taylor that he still loves her too, whenever she says it to him. In fact, I probably missed it, but has he even told her or the Brats, or Eric or anyone that he still loves Taylor?

I didn't think you were directing it toward me. LOL.
I don't agree that Brooke looked pathetic, she looked glad to see him and not once did I hear her ask him about coming home. Nor, did she try and "aw shucks" him or punch him in the arm to show him she is just a "folksy gal" who just "really likes him, really, really" LOL.
I win this thing either way IMO. And that was kind of the vibe I got from the scene yesterday. If Ridge goes back to his fallback position, Brooke wins. She will get to be wooed by Bill and he will be doing some great wooing, and while all that wooing is happening Ridge will be seething and coming around trying to stop that wooing from happening. And Taylor will be watching from the couch while she slurps her noodles and tries to figure out how to hang on to Ridge now. One thing Taylor knows and understands is that an indifferent Brooke is more powerful than a Brooke that is chasing Ridge. Taylor has been there, done that with Ridge, more than once. And, it never ended well for her.
So, for me its a win either way. TK is really growing on me as Ridge so I want Bridge to happen, but if not, I loathe Taylor and have for years. She never ever OWNS any of the criminal things she has pulled or any of the snarky stuff she has pulled. So, the next best thing will be watching her be miserable while watching Ridge be miserable over Brooke going on with her life with Bill, hopefully. The cherry on the top of that sundae would be if Bill asked Brooke what she wanted for a wedding gift and she told him "tell the cops that Taylor shot you" LOL.

That's so funny because I thought Brooke was so cool yesterday. She didn't ask Ridge to stay. She went with the flow. She said very little, just smiled. Cool. Matter of fact. Relaxed. It was almost as if she's pulling away from Ridge. I'm taking this as a great sign.

Funny because I didn't perceive her as cool at all. Those smiles were loving smiles. And the stage directions in the leaked script for that first scene also said that "his concern means so much to her".
She only didn't ask him to stay because she knew that seeing Sheila behind bars again was currently his top priority, that he didn't really have time to think about reuniting with her right now. That's also why she asked him what brought him by, instead of assuming he had decided to come back to her when he suddenly showed up.

I wasn't using the word "cool" in the context of "cold." Brooke, for me, was composed. She came across as thanks for coming, I'm fine. I liked that she didn't say much and just smiled.

And we now know that Ridge and Brooke get romantic during a power outage. Brooke was definitely cool and laid back with Ridge. No acting like Marcia Brady meeting Davy Jones for her. The contrast between Brooke and Taylor is very clear. Taylor is being written and dressed like a ditzy teenager. Between the arm punching, insipid whispering, herky jerky arm waving, and the overall "aw shucks" stuff she has been blowing up Ridge's skirt to get him to pay attention to her, it is painful to watch her.

It was definitely much longer than 10 minutes, given that Quinn had enough time to talk to Wyatt at the mansion and then drive to FC to see Carter while Ridge was still with Brooke.
And I even agree it isn't out of the ordinary that he wanted to check on Brooke. But it also wouldn't have been out of the ordinary to check on Taylor at the cliff house, especially since it was much more probable that Sheila would have shown up there than at Brooke's. So those Bridge scenes actually meant something, especially since they were the first scenes KKL filmed after her injury, the first scenes with her in an episode whose other parts had been filmed long before that Bell didn't cut out or where he didn't replace Brooke with another character. If they didn't mean anything, he could have rewritten those scenes as Ridge checking on Taylor instead or even on Thomas, but he didn't.

Lol. For a change, Taylor actually made a valid point that Li was in much more danger of being Sheila's target than Brooke. So Ridge agreeing with her and calling Brooke after Li had nothing to do with Taylor holding a sway over him. Anyone else could have made that point and his reaction would have been the same.

Exactly. And still, despite the fact that they were only fillers and had hardly more than 2 minutes of airtime altogether, those Bridge scenes were obviously important enough to Bell not to take them out of the script when KKL got injured. This could easily have been done, since their talk about Sheila didn't advance the plot in any way. Bell could just have told the scriptwriter to make some of the other scenes a little longer instead. But he wanted us to see that Ridge is looking after Brooke and being protective of her.

No Brooke is not on the same level of hypocrisy as Taylor and Ridge and Steffy. Not even close. Brooke has moments of being a hypocrite, but it is not in her everyday life like it is with them. Their do as I command, not as I do attitude is why they are so easy to loathe. Ridge is off making out and feeling up his nasty ex-wife, who is his current wife's nemesis, and he thinks it is all fine and dandy. But, Brooke texting her daughters father about their daughter, and Ridge leaves her on their honeymoon? Huh???
Steffy got mad over a dying kiss and went out and banged her FIL, and was hoping to get away with it and allow her clueless husband to go on and on about wrong he was to kiss a woman when they both thought they were going to die. She sure is the Queen of Hypocrites. She doesn't even own it in full after she is caught. She usually tries to make it all Brooke's fault she did things. She tried to blame Brooke for her kissing Hector when she was telling Ridge about it. She said if Brooke wasn't always around and in his head, she never would have been vulnerable to Hector. LOL. You know, like when she said she went to Big Bear with James because of Brooke always in her marriage, so it was all Brooke's fault she had to deflower James. She blamed Brooke for not being able to live her son Jack and bond with him. The woman is like a giant deflector screen. Nothing is ever her fault...really, really. Brooke made her do it. LOL
