Why does Ridge still have a key? (General)

He doesn't live there anymore. But he got in and said at least the door was locked so he must still have a key. Unless he makes up his mind and decides to move back in, he should give Brooke back her key - he really doesn't have the right to show up whenever he pleases and just let himself in. I would love it if Brooke decided she'd had enough and demanded her key and her life back. Let boring Tridge walk off into the sunset and stay there.

I was wondering the same thing. I thought he was supposed to have moved back in but apparently not. Brooke was willing to risk her relationship for her daughter (she didn't know how Hope would take the edict about not being able to invite her own father to her own home) and that still didn't move Ridge enough for him to come back. I can't stand Brooke but she does need to cut her losses and accept that Ridge just doesn't want to come back.

Brooke and Hope's relationship was never at risk.

I think the Bridge reunion may have been pushed back because of KKL's injury. Ridge isn't acting like someone who is trying to decide which woman he wants to be with. He talks to Taylor like she's the mother of his children and that's it. He hasn't even discussed his situation with anyone.

Nothing about his behavior says he just doesn't want to come back. He still hasn't even mentioned filing for divorce. So I'm not sure what makes you think Brooke should give up on him. The storyline is apparently on hold because of KKL's injury.

It has literally only been about 1 and 1/2 days on this show since Brooke went to see Ridge the evening of the day Dr. Rainbows brought over the noodles for them to slurp together. I think that all took place the day before his showing up at Brooke's today.

He just wants more time to get his head around it all, and obviously, he has gotten himself into a situation with Taylor and does not know how to extricate himself from it without hurting her.

He doesn't want to hurt his ex wife but he has no problem hurting his wife.
