Why was Finn in the HFTF office?

Was it an emergency? Most people who visit people in the job in their spouses office? It just dawned on me that it is Finn who was intruding. That office has a divider where people often try on clothing. Finn shouldn’t be roaming around offices.

He did not knock…did he? He came in and Hope said “Lock the door” from behind the dressing screen. WTH? Why didn’t he say…”Hey, it’s Finn”. I just said it out loud, took less than 3 seconds. Now, when he saw her come out why didn’t he start to turn around or cover his eyes, like a gentleman? Now OTOH, why didn’t Hope scream and jump back, instead of moving forward and trippin* on top of him. I know it was done for the story, but again, stupid. If she had screamed, old snarking Steffy would have known Hope was startled and not expecting Finn or maybe anyone.

Why didn't Hope shout and ask "Who is it? I am changing clothes! "

Why did Hope just make assumptions and just ordered that someone to 'lock the door' and added that she 'had been waiting for that someone'

Just two episodes before that, Hope got caught by her mother in that office,
when Hope (showing her bra) and a half-naked Carter (without a shirt) made out against that desk.

Why didn't Hope ask or take a peek around the folding screen first?

Yes, if the characters had reacted differently, we wouldn't have the SL that we have.
