Actually, Brooke/Hope/Katie all work for FC for many years and Finn is NOT. Big big difference.

Liam is the one who doesn’t work there but shows up.

So what? People brought up three people other than Finn above and you addressed that comment. And the explanation re Finn was already provided btw.

Well, in this particular case, if you're looking for your wife and Lainey tells you where she believes your wife is, it’s logical to go there.

It's logical to go there first, but it's NOT logical to leave a note there since Steffy wasn't even in there. He could've easily leave a note with Pam or in Steffy's office.

Steffy’s office was occupied with a shouting match as mentioned, and he was led to believe Steffy would be headed where he left the note. Sounds logical to me, in fact a lot more logical than planning to surprise the COO in lingerie on work time in an unlocked office.
