Maybe Li has her own mind and is expressing her own feelings. She’s never been shown to be a weak follower.

Li said exactly what Steffy was saying about Hope's influence. I bet she didn't learn it from Finn.
I didn't say Li is weak. She just has all her info from Steffy, but no info about Steffy Otherwise she wouldn't constantly ask Finn to respect Steffy. I bet she doesn't even know Steffy needed a paternity test for Hayes just like she never learned that Taylor shot Bill in the back and that's why Finn and Steffy couldn't testify against Sheila.

I have the same feelings as Li about Hope and Sheila and came up with them all by myself. I don’t know whether or not Li knows about those other things. They may have been addressed but I’m not up for looking, because for me they’re whataboutism that doesn’t come into how I feel about Finn’s interactions with Hope and Sheila.

lol Li is not a B&B viewer. She was not at Sheacon's wedding and she says the same stuff that was previously coming out of Steffy's mouth only.
Li doesn't know about many things. She wouldn't be as kind to Steffy from the start if she knew about the paternity and we basically saw on screens that Steffy and Finn didn't tell Li why they won't testify when she asked so... Yeah. A simple deduction. Someone as hateful and judgmental as Li wouldn't let things like that slide. She hates her own sister for mistakes that aren't even as drastic as Steffy's mistakes.
