Is Paris gone officially?

Talk about a failure of a character. The character just never had a real identity. She was brought in to prop Zoe who was brought in to prop Xander who brought in as a relative of a character they quickly got rid of in Maya. There was a brief moment where she had a chance to maybe do something interesting when it looked like she was going to get obsessed with Finn but then they big footed her by bringing back Sheila. That was the end of her. It was one desperate attempt to stick her in something and nothing stuck. Her Zende had no storyline investment. She was an obvious substitute for Quinn with Carter and that was basically her last hurrah. She's been window dressing since then.

Yeah I think Kiara leaving so soon after she came on ruined their plans for her. And they tried to pivot but she was so young and not ready to be a romantic lead.

I wonder why they felt like they had to make her a romantic lead rather than somebody in the office.

I am guessing Because they lost a romantic lead. She’s was hired to be Zoe’s annoying kid sister that might eventually develop into a larger lead role. I think Kiara left suddenly and she was the reason they had
cast Zende. So they had all this set up and sure they could have recast Zoe but instead they just tried to make it work with Paris.

This is the part i am sympathetic about. A production or casting issue can be really tricky to navigate with small budgets so they are often forced to make due.
