Can Sheila change?

I think they are cut from the same cloth. I do not feel that Thomas is mentally ill unless you called spoiled brat syndrome a mental illness.

I do however believe Shelia is mentally ill. She was unloved by her parents and Molly blamed Shelia for Shelia's father leaving them. Her parents taught her that she was unworthy of being loved. I also believe that Finn is her first born. Finn's father all but admitted that he took advantage of her when he got her to hand over Finn. The way she was so obsessed with Scotty and the things she did to keep him, shows me that she was badly damaged by someone. There is no way she would have handed over Finn if she had lost her baby with Scott first.

Of course this is my feelings toward both characters.
