Katie has always wanted to prove to herself that she could have whatever Brooke and Donna had. That is all her string romance with Ridge was all about. She has mental issues because she was always focused on her reflection. Donna was messed up when she asked Rocco to date Katie knowing that Rocco really wanted to be with Donna. Katie has to have all of Brooke, Donna, Bridget and Hope's leftovers. I think the only ones that did not want one of those four before Katie was her classmate Kurt and Carter...
