Last week many people were talking about an alternate storyline. Maybe none of what we have seen actually happened and tomorrow someone wakes up?

The question is who wakes up and how far back?

Posted last week... based on the spoilers it won't, but if Bell consulted me, this would be the outsome:

Given the Patrick Duffy return and the possible "dream scenario" from Dallas being replicated, what about Finn being the one who is dreaming? Having his mother save him, the torment of Sheila finding him, and his desire to find Steffy again all make sense from his perspective in a dream.

The dream would also allow the writing team to re-do some of its most recent criticisms: (1) Breaking up Brooke and Ridge (2) Returning Thomas to the villain role; MA and HJS play their characters so well, it's a shame to have the CPS call crap potentially write either of them out. (3) having Quinn disappear so quickly after the heated affair with Carter. (4) Having a police force believe that Sheila is dead because of a toe.

Then the writing team could construct new ways to: (1) Develop a different storyline to build on the chemistry with KA and TK while retaining Brooke and Ridge's marriage. (2) Create a more realistic custody sharing agreement between Hope and Thomas about Douglas (3) Creating a new story about Sheila escaping which could include killing Quinn and having both Eric and Carter address their respective romantic losses (4) Build a better storyline for Deacon than being Sheila's accomplice, which really makes no sense given his love for Brooke and his intention to be a great father to Hope.

Or writers could get pink slipped
