It'll be the fact that Brooke fixed her lips to threaten it in the first place. Ridge was livid the second she let it come out of her mouth. He's tired of Brooke minding Thomas and Hope's business and refusing to let Thomas be a father to Douglas. Brooke has made this a her or his kids type situation and a father always chooses his kids or at least he should.

According to spoilers you are wrong. Ridge won't want to leave Broke until he will believe that she called the CPS on Thomas. If Ridge would be so horrified that Brooke dared to not trust his psychotic son after everything he did to her then he is an even bigger loser than I believe him to be.

Ridge is written as impulsive, selfish,, and just plain dumb.
