If there's a custody case/Thomas's past (Spoilers)

If there is a custody case between Thomas and Lope over Douglas, I'm going to be super interested to see how the writers deal with Thomas's past. We know the show likes to ignore certain characters' crimes. Has it even been mentioned since Taylor returned that she shot Bill in the back and left him to die?

It's kind of surprising to me that Thomas would even challenge Hope for custody when you consider all the stuff that could come out about him in court. It makes me wonder if the show will just pretend they never happened.

If they have Thomas regain custody because Hope and Liam never bring up all the things Thomas did, including using Douglas as a pawn in his psychotic scheme to get Hope, that's going to be infuriating.

I wonder if Liam will tell Hope she should let Douglas live with his father. That would certainly add a challenge to their marriage.

That could help what sounds like a very boring s/l. Liam didn't want Douglas to begin with. Didn't Hope throw a fit and throw him out? Can't even remember now.

I think Liam walked out on her and went to Steffy because he already had two kids he was responsible for and didn’t have time for a third. Hope talked with Brooke the next morning and pretty much convinced Hope to give up Douglas for Liam. Hope went over to tell Liam but then saw Steam kissing passionately.

Liam said his plate was full. hope ignored his wishes she’s self centered

That's not how it happened at all. Liam gave Hope an ultimatum and Hope said, nope, I'm not giving up Douglas, and turned down his proposal. It was Liam that came to her later and told her he wanted to marry her and be a family with her, Beth, and Douglas.
