I don’t see how it’s a win per se considering Quinn is in love with Carter now.

Seems to me Quinn fell in love with Carter and I think deep down Eric knows it.

He dumped Donna originally and chose Quinn but he seems to feel Quinn loves Carter, at least that’s what I think.

And I think Quinn loves Carter more than Eric.

My opinion of why the show is doing this is that the show wants Quarter so to pair them without hurting Eric, they had him cheat with Donna. Now he and Quinn are “even” and now Quarter can happen with no one but poor Paris hurt.

I’m just sorry they (the writers) tormented Paris to give angst to Quarter.

I don't think Quinn loves anyone but Quinn. She was even willing to never see Wyatt again if Liam would have run away with her. When Quinn wants something that Carter is unwilling to give, she'll turn on him a la Deacon. And I won't feel a bit sorry for Carter the Fool.
