WOBB 3.0 is coming... (General)

To celebrate the recent return of brand new episodes of The Bold and the Beautiful, we thought we'd let everyone know that we've been hard at work on forum upgrades and improvements. And while we don't have anything specific to announce just yet, we wanted to give everyone a heads up to let you know that even when the show had to pause production, we've been keeping busy here!

While we're still working on the updates, we'd like you to provide some feedback to help us determine what to focus on now, as well as what else to work on for future versions.

So let us know what you'd like to see by replying here. While we can't promise we'll be able to add every feature that people suggest, we can assure you that we will give every suggestion due consideration. And if you intend to ask us to make it easier to access the board on your phone, you can rest assured that the primary goal of the update was to make sure that the days of squinting at tiny links on your phone will soon be gone forever!

Like the previous poster stated, updated rules would be great. They seem to change a lot over time. They have not been updated since May 2019 and I think other rules could be added.

The rule about "Actors bashing" should me more strict, especially for the clothing and the physical appearances of the actors/actresses. I don't mind someone saying the acting for actor A is better than actor B, but it shouldn't go further. I read too much negativity about 3 or 4 actors in particular. B&B is the most popular soap opera in the world, Bell only hires talented actors and they all look great, so I think they deserve all respect.

The rule about derogatory words should be more specific. Are words like "sluts, skunks, pigs, sleaze, slimeballs, tramps, hookers,..." allowed or not? It seems like this rule differs from 1 year to another. In 2018 it was allowed. In 2019 all of a sudden it was stricly forbidden, and now I see it a lot again and I was told it's allowed again. It should be made clear on the "rules" thread.

I have more examples but I stop here, maybe other posters will complete it. Anyway, the rules thread needs a good update, that's my suggestion.

I second this post, especially around more clarity for actor/actress bashing. Shaming actual people for their age, looks, talent, idiosyncrasises, etc. should be discouraged and not permitted. As well, I agree that certain terms/words should be screened so that they can't be used in a post.

I also like the limit on characters/words in a post, an ignore feature, and PM.
