WOBB 3.0 is coming... (General)

To celebrate the recent return of brand new episodes of The Bold and the Beautiful, we thought we'd let everyone know that we've been hard at work on forum upgrades and improvements. And while we don't have anything specific to announce just yet, we wanted to give everyone a heads up to let you know that even when the show had to pause production, we've been keeping busy here!

While we're still working on the updates, we'd like you to provide some feedback to help us determine what to focus on now, as well as what else to work on for future versions.

So let us know what you'd like to see by replying here. While we can't promise we'll be able to add every feature that people suggest, we can assure you that we will give every suggestion due consideration. And if you intend to ask us to make it easier to access the board on your phone, you can rest assured that the primary goal of the update was to make sure that the days of squinting at tiny links on your phone will soon be gone forever!

Stop deleting very old threads. I posted a lot of messages when I registered, at some point I had more than 1,000 comments. One day in 2019, all threads between December 2017 and April 2018 had disappeared and suddenly I had less than 500. I don't see the need to delete these old threads. I enjoy reading these old threads from years ago; it's interesting to see who is still there today, who has left and who is new. Or how the opinions progress in time. I have seen posters who had very strong opinions about some chatacters of the show in early 2018, and did a 180 today. Some posters love to introduce themselves in their very 1st comment, but these threads have disappeared for most of them. It's also a way to keep our "comments count" intact. Even better: add back all these deleted threads. I see posters who registered in middle 2008, so I assume this is when the forum was created. I participate in discussions on sports, medical and video games message boards and we still have the history of every discussions since 1997, for one of them, 2002-2003 for 2 others. They leave everything public since the day of the creation. There are currently 1141 pages of threads (= around 11,400 threads) here, and I would love to have older threads back. If it isn't possible, I will understand. Thank you.
Some mentionned the ignore/block feature. I think a limit of posts per day would be appropriate, too. When I registered, I rememeber how the Steam fans very being targetted until the couple's breakup in July 2018. There were 3 Lope fans (they aren't posting anymore today) responding "Steffy just banged her father-in-law" (or messages with similar content) to every single posters that had a different opinion. These 3 easily had over 100 posts per day and never allowed anyone to have an opposite opinion. This kind of scenario should be avoided. I still think some posters are abusing with this, today. I only log in 2 or 3 times a week and I rarely post more than 5 messages per day. A limit of 10 or 15 messsages would be nice, in my opinion. There are hardly ever more than 15 new threads in 24 jours, anyway. Again, I totally understand if it is not possible. I am suggesting ways for improvement, like you asked.
