Looks like Steffy will be adopting Beth and it will take place quicker than I thought.
The spoiler I am troubled by is " Steffy becomes convinced that Taylor’s plan will change all of their lives for the better"-whose lives does she think this adoption will make better? I don't think anyone's other than herself. I really wish they hadn't involved Steffy in this. The whole adoption story is ridiculous and the timing is awful at best.

It’s nasty. Sadistic storyline and there is really no way Bell can play this as altruistic on Steffy’s part. Characters will praise her, no doubt but it’s not going to work for most fans. I wonder if anyone will question how cruel it really is? Maybe Brooke? Hope and Liam’s baby JUST died and she’s getting Kelly a replacement sibling days later. Buying her.

With jmw about to take a break I question the need to suddenly make the storyline about her character unless it’s an exit storyline for her. After the quality acting and writing to this point it’s too bad it’s now going to evolve into this nonsense.

It's a ridiculous storyline plot device on many levels. Bell, as we well know, has no problem creating his own reality, and this adoption farce is no different. One doesn't snap their fingers and adopt a baby, it takes a long time. Paperwork, numerous interviews, referrals, character references, etc. And even then, the likelihood of being able to adopt exactly what you hope for, in this case, a newborn girl, is very slim, especially for a single woman. But I'm sure we'll see Steffy getting Kelly's infant "sister" within a matter of days. And this doesn't even address how Liam's supposed to feel, given that he's just been told that his newborn little girl died. However, I'm sure Bell will overlook Liam's grief and have him spouting idiotic sentiments of approval for Steffy's insensitivity. GMAB. :roll

You know he will. Despite the fact that he’s mourning the loss of his baby, Bell will have him and everyone else hammer the audience with how wonderful this is. As if viewers are going to fall in line with idiotic dialogue. :roll

In all the shows I've watched over the years, and the shows I still watch, none of them overexpose a character in the way Bell does with Steffy. She's inserted in almost every single storyline, even when it makes little sense. It's not as if the show can't exist without her. It did just fine when JMW left to pursue other opportunities. This s/l, however, is truly hurl worthy. :puke
