Who gave Hope a chance?

I found Hope a little hypocritical today about Steffy’s rise as CEO. Brooke became CEO primarily because they tried to steal Belief from her and didn’t want to pay her. She didn’t have a contract that said that whatever she created at Forrester belonged to Forrester. Steffy came back to town to work at her family business. And like everyone else, worked for the family. It’s a family business. I can’t stand snotty Steffy. Whether we like it or not, she figured out how to own more shares. I think Brooke was presented as a better business person because she had a vision. Steffy is all about the numbers which is important, but I don’t experience her as thinking big. However, who opened the door for Hope? So before she throws stones at Steffy about her position at the company she needs to remember doors were opened for her as well.

Hopes not family …..she’s not a forrester

Her mother made the company even richer and three of her siblings are Foresters. That still doesn’t get to the point of who opened the door for Hope so that’s why she needs to watch what she says about Steffy and privilege.

I haven't watched the show today but read that Hope accused Steffy of being elitist? Is this true? As well, I read that she talked about the Logans and humble beginnings. Yes, Brooke came from humble beginnings, but Hope did not. She was born with a silver spoon just like Steffy.

As for your question, Aunt Katie the CEO at the time opened the Forrester door to Hope, giving her HFTF all wrapped up with a bow and pushing her to claim HFTF as her own idea. Humble beginnings indeed.

Steffy IS elitist. Not too long ago she called Brooke the SFTV. That's what Hope was referring to. She was talking about Brooke and how she made a successful career for herself and how there was no shame in being the daughter of a caterer. She wasn't talking about herself.

Brooke and Hope's scenes today were great. They are both supporting each other, big time.
