No Surprise (General Discussion)

Wyatt did exactly what I predicted he would. Even knowing Sally didn't want people knowing, Wyatt had to go to Flo and run his mouth about Sally's illness. Naturally Flo had to show concern, but I swear I could see the wheels turning at the realization that Sally would no longer be in the picture in the very near future and no longer a concern or issue in her relationship with Wyatt. So of course it will be easy for Flo to tell Wyatt to go be with Sally to provide support and comfort during her remaining days. After all, what's a month? Right? :whistle :drunk

This is on Katie, not Wyatt. She’s the one that promised confidentiality and immediately broke it.

True enough. However, Wyatt was told repeatedly by Katie, and by Bill, that Sally didn't want people to know about her illness or that she was dying. Katie told Wyatt because of his relationship to Sally. That doesn't mean he had to tell Flo. Now everyone will know because as sure as there are little green apples, the next to know will be Shauna and Quinn. Then Eric will know, then Ridge, then Steffy, and so on and so on. Cupcake didn't need to know.

And Sally told Katie repeatedly not to tell anyone. Bill is telling Wyatt to keep it confidential when he himself knowing is a breach of promise. Really? As I said, it’s ALL on Katie.

And I agreed, it is. But that doesn't excuse loose lipped Wyatt.

The promise of secrecy isn’t on Wyatt, it was on Katie. She can hardly expect someone else to keep a confidence that she didn’t.
