Brooke Got a Big Fat Reality Check

First of all, it's not an assumption on Taylor's part. Ridge told her he loves without any qualifying. That's a tacit admission that he's in love with her. Second of all, this "destiny" nonsense is just that, nonsense. If you're really destined it shouldn't be so hard to stay together.

I don't know where this myth is coming from that Bridge find it hard to stay together. They've been together for how long now? When he left after New Year's, it was because of Sheila's manipulation. The moment he found out, he was back, after ho humming a bit about making his choice. Since then he has told Brooke over and over again that he wants to be with her. He loves her. He also loves Taylor but not like he loves Brooke. Those are Ridges words. If they have been pulled apart it's because of manipulation like what Steffy just did and what Thomas did earlier by blocking Ridge from seeing Brooke and hiding his phone. If people would just let them be they would be perfectly happy together. If they are not meant to be they will implode on their own and then Taylor can swoop in. But she knows that won't happen. So do her kids. That's why they have to try so desperately to make the implosion happen. And even then they're forgetting that they can't make Ridge magically stop loving Brooke and start loving Taylor. They're not doing Taylor any favours and she will in the end have her heart broken. If I liked her even a bit I would actually feel sorry for her but I don't.

ITA. The thing about the unwanted visitors sounds to me like they are going to throw Brooke under the bus to make Tridge seem like they are suppose to be together again. I am sick and tired of this show using Brooke to put across other couples, that are not working. I wish they would just leave Brooke out of it. Ridge can just cheat with Taylor, he has cheated on every woman he has been with, so why not again? If they want Tridge to happen, than just let them cheat and get caught by Brooke, and be done with it. Why does she have to be sacrificed to make the cheaters look like what they are doing is not what they are doing, which is being gamey. Ridge is a cheater, and Taylor is the floozie that encourages his cheating. Pretty simple stuff.

I don't think it matters at this point how he goes to Taylor. As a viewer I've seen and read enough. If he truly wanted Taylor nothing is stopping him. Taylor, Thomas and Steffy are working tirelessly to get him to be with her. Brooke just sits at home and minds her own business. She didn't even wait up for him to come back from the dinner, lol. I found that so funny. She's so secure in their relationship that she doesn't even see the need to confront him right away and knows they can talk later. She has no one manipulating on her behalf. No one bad-mouthing Taylor for her and filling Ridges ears. And yet he comes back home to her. He has not said even once that he's torn. He calls her his wife all the time and tells his kids to leave his marriage alone. After that one kiss in Monaco he hasn't even considered kissing Taylor again. So, in my opinion if he does choose Taylor, it will be because of something very significant and major. And Taylor, the desperate wannabe will of course take him whichever way she can, a la Steffy. I'm not sure who at this point still believes that Taylor is his true love, but I tip my figurative hat to them. They certainly do not know how to give up and that is an admirable quality to have
