Carter is Quinn's Perfect Man

Credit where it's due. Eric did stand up to his family when he married her bur somewhere along the line he quit and allowed Brooke to consistently disrespect Quinn IN HER OWN HOME. Worse, he had the gall to be angry with his wife when finally decided to fight back against Brooke. Carter won't allow Brooke to disrespect Quinn in their home or anywhere for that matter.

Eric had every right to be angry with his wife because he warned her not to go back to her old, scheming ways, yet she purposely ignored his request and schemed against Bridge anyway. Prior to that, he respected her and stood by her.

Carter is a fool, but he's not a schemer/bully purposely hurt others. So once Quarter are together, I doubt he would be perfectly fine if Quinn schemes again and harms others.

Shown on screen, Steffy blackmailed Bill. Yet, she told Ivy (and Liam too) that “blackmail is a crime”. Per Steffy’s own words, she IS a criminal cuz she has blackmailed.
