I wish that if Steffy uses Sheila criminal past to forbid she visits Hayes, Finn brings up in herbface that Taylor shot Bill and left him to die.

Steffy can't use Sheila's past to stop visitation. Sheila went to prison for her crimes and get released. She paid her debt. Taylor, as you say, did not, and to prove anything else about Sheila, Steffy would have to send her mom to justice for once.

I think all kid custody threats are a nonstarter. Sheila saved Kelly's life. A judge ain't trying to hear that she's a threat to Kelly or Hayes.
